On November 26, the “China–Thailand Environmental Technology Cooperation Seminar,” co-organized by the China–ASEAN Environmental Cooperation Center and the Thai Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, was held in Bangkok, Thailand.
On November 26, the “China–Thailand Environmental Technology Cooperation Seminar,” co-organized by the China–ASEAN Environmental Cooperation Center and the Thai Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, was held in Bangkok, Thailand. The seminar aims to support environmental protection industry and technology exchanges under the Belt and Road Initiative, implement the China–ASEAN framework for cooperation on environmental protection technologies and industries, facilitate the alignment and transfer of technologies between China and ASEAN, and provide support for the establishment of demonstration bases for China–ASEAN cooperation and exchange in environmental protection technology and industry.
The meeting was co-hosted by China and Thailand. The Deputy Director of the Pollution Prevention Department of the Ministry of Environment and Resources of Thailand, officials from the Ministry of Industry and other departments and representatives of Duan Feizhou, head of the Technical Exchange Department of the ASEAN Center, attended the meeting. As a China-ASEAN environmental protection technology and industry demonstration base, and also a positive action in response to the major strategy of the "One Belt and One Road", our company was invited to participate in this meeting. At the meeting, officials from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Thailand introduced the investment market, policy environment, and related industry standards to Yixing companies, helping Yixing environmental companies to go out to explore markets, undertake projects, conduct cooperation, answer questions, and unblock channels.
Compared with environmental protection technologies in Europe and North America, our company’s solutions are more cost-effective and better aligned with the needs of ASEAN countries. Moving forward, with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the Yixing Environmental Science Park, we will provide ASEAN nations with end-to-end, comprehensive solutions for industrial wastewater and solid waste treatment—covering project implementation, equipment supply, demonstration projects, and wider-scale promotion—thus delivering full-spectrum environmental services. Our goal is to extend Yixing’s and China’s cutting-edge environmental technologies and products to more countries along the Belt and Road, further advance the internationalization of Yixing’s environmental protection industry, and establish Yixing as a true global hub for environmental sustainability.
