On December 13, 2012, the Finnish Clean Technology Exchange Conference was held in the Environmental Science Park. A delegation of Finnish clean technology companies headed by the first deputy mayor of Lahti, Finland, Mika Makinen, was led by the leaders of the Chinese Academy of Environmental Sciences Next, came to Boda to visit and exchange on clean technology in water treatment and other aspects.

Finland has a high level of technology in the fields of energy saving, clean production technology, water treatment and waste treatment, and it ranks 4th in the global clean technology innovation index. The city of Lahti is an agglomeration area for the Finnish clean technology industry, with 15% of the clean technology companies in Finland. Broad has established cooperative relations with some enterprises in Lahti City.
