Sludge Reduction Treatment Project at the Qili Village Oil Production Plant of Yanchang Oilfield
Project Name: Sludge Reduction Treatment Project at the Qili Village Oil Production Plant of Yanchang Oilfield
Project scale: 120m 3/d
Commissioning date: Aug, 2015
Treatment process: sieving and fluidization + hardening and tempering + dewatering
Project Overview: Oily sludge is an oily solid waste generated during oil exploration, transportation, refining, and the treatment of oily wastewater. It contains substantial amounts of petroleum-based materials, which not only pose environmental pollution risks but also result in significant resource wastage. Each production station at the Yanchang Oilfield faces challenges in the treatment and disposal of oily sludge. In light of the specific conditions at the Qinghuabian Oil Production Plant, this project employs a treatment process comprising “sieving and fluidization, hardening and tempering, and dewatering.” This approach enables the recovery of most of the crude oil contained in the sludge, thereby achieving sludge volume reduction and resource recovery.
