Project Overview: Baotou Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. has an annual cold-rolled sheet production capacity of 1.4 million tonnes, including 800,000 tonnes of cold-rolled coil and 410,000 tonnes of hot-dip galvanized coil. The plant comprises a pickling–cold rolling tandem line, a continuous hot-dip galvanizing unit, and other process production lines along with associated auxiliary facilities. The production process generates substantial quantities of acid–alkali wastewater, oil-containing and emulsified wastewater, and chromium-containing (heavy metal ion) wastewater. After treatment to meet the national secondary effluent discharge standards, the wastewater is discharged.
