Wuxi IKEA Shopping Center Wastewater Treatment Project
Project Name: Wuxi IKEA Shopping Center Wastewater Treatment Project
Project scale: 5 sets of complete equipment, including 250 m³/d and 500 m³. 3 /d, 800m 3 /d and others
Commissioning date: 2016
Project Overview: The Wuxi IKEA Shopping Center has five domestic sewage discharge outlets, including restaurant wastewater and toilet-washing and bathing wastewater. These two types of wastewater are combined before being treated as a single stream. Based on the water quality and quantity data provided by the owner and taking into account the site conditions, BODA employs an A/O biological treatment process to ensure that the effluent meets regulatory discharge standards. This treatment process is well-established and offers advantages such as stable effluent quality, low maintenance requirements, high efficiency, ease of operation, and low daily operating costs. In consideration of the surrounding environment and hygiene concerns, the main equipment and facilities are either fully or semi-buried, with the above-ground portions covered with soil for planting flowers, trees, or grass to further enhance the aesthetic appeal of the site.
