Emulsified oily wastewater solution for iron and steel

Emulsified (oily) wastewater is generated during the cold-rolling process in the iron and steel industry. Its main constituents are 2%–10% mineral oil and emulsifiers. Due to its relatively stable nature, conventional physical and biochemical treatment methods often fail to achieve satisfactory treatment results. Typically, the oil concentration in the effluent ranges from 800 to 1,000 mg/L, which exceeds the regulatory limits for environmental discharge.
However, “BEI JIA QING,” the obligate microorganism developed by BODA, can effectively biodegrade pollutants in iron-and-steel emulsified oily wastewater, converting them into water, carbon dioxide, and other inorganic substances that can re-enter the natural nutrient cycle. For concentrated emulsion wastewater, BODA employs ceramic ultrafiltration for oil–water separation, enabling the recovery and reuse of the emulsified oil. For low-concentration oily wastewater, BODA utilizes the “BEI JIA QING” obligate microorganism for biological degradation, ensuring that the effluent meets national discharge standards or is suitable for water recycling.
